Explanation
The hereditary head of the Aikikai. After O-Sensei, the title passed to Kisshōmaru Ueshiba, then to Moriteru Ueshiba (current Dōshu).
合気会の世襲の総帥。開祖の後は植芝吉祥丸、現在は植芝守央道主が継承している。
