Explanation
The honoured wall of the dojo, usually displaying a photograph of O-Sensei or calligraphy. Students bow to the kamiza when entering and leaving the mat.
道場の上座。多くは開祖の写真や書を掲げる。畳に上がる際と降りる際に礼をする。
